Understand what happened
This week is different for a reason that has a name.
Most weeks differ from the one before, and the difference is rarely a mystery. Siteleon puts the two periods side by side and then does the harder part — it accounts for the gap. Because your edits, your campaigns, your enquiries and your customers sit in one record, the explanation can start with what actually happened rather than with a theory about it. Causes come back in order of how much of the difference each one explains. It is the difference between knowing the week was worse and knowing what made it worse.
Your own changes are on the record
Every publish, content edit, form change, business fact update and campaign adjustment is timestamped as it happens. So the explanation for a bad Tuesday can begin with what was done on Tuesday, instead of working backwards from a graph.
The difference is split, and the remainder admitted
A month's split might read: enquiries rose by 22 — 14 on the hotel maintenance page you published, 5 on the Alicante campaign, 3 unaccounted for. The unaccounted part is shown as unaccounted. An explanation that always adds up to exactly 100% is not an explanation.
Outside causes get named too
A public holiday, a heatwave that filled the emergency line for three days, the same September rise you saw last year. When the cause is the weather or the calendar, Siteleon says so — so you neither take the credit nor start changing a site that was never broken.
