Ask, propose, approve
You decide how much your site is allowed to do without you.
The choice is not between AI that changes nothing and AI that changes everything while you sleep. You pick one of three modes for each site, and review and apply is the default. Suggest means nothing happens until you ask for it; review and apply means Siteleon proposes and you approve before anything goes live. Limited auto-maintain means a short, listed set of low-risk upkeep — missing alt text, a broken internal link, an image too heavy for a phone — is handled for you and reported afterwards. Business facts such as a phone number are never in that set. Above that line sits a fixed set of actions that always waits for a person, whichever mode you have chosen.
Risk decides the route, not convenience
Fixing a typo and changing a price are not the same act, so they do not travel the same path. Changing core business facts, deleting pages, changing prices, publishing a legal claim, changing a domain, spending advertising budget and altering consent or privacy behaviour always require review. That list does not move because a mode was switched.
Auto-maintain is a short, visible list
If you turn it on, you see exactly which kinds of change it covers and you can switch any of them off individually. Each automatic change is recorded, shown to you afterwards and can be reverted. It never quietly grows into something broader over time.
Every action leaves a readable record
For any change you can see what was asked for, what was proposed, which facts and evidence it used, what actually changed, who approved it and when it published. That record is what makes approval meaningful months later, during a handover or an argument about who changed the pricing page. It covers changes made by a person and by Siteleon alike.
