What the site knows

The business itself, recorded once and kept current.

This is the record everything else hangs from. Legal name and trading name, what the business does, how long it has done it, who runs it, where enquiries go, when you answer the phone. It also holds what the business is permitted to say about itself — the claims that have been checked, and the ones that have not. A commercial air conditioning company might trade as one name, invoice under another, and answer the phone until 18:00 on weekdays with a separate out-of-hours line for contract customers. Every page, form and footer that touches any of that reads it from here.

Opening hours are a record, not a paragraph

Hours are held once and shown wherever they are needed. Close early for a public holiday and Siteleon names the contact page, the two local pages, the footer and the business details search engines read, then changes them all in one approved update.

Contact points belong to the business, not pages

The enquiry number, the out-of-hours line and the general inbox are separate records with their own purposes. When the out-of-hours number changes, Siteleon updates the places that use the out-of-hours number — not every phone number on the site.

You write down what you may claim

"We hold the refrigerant handling certification commercial work requires" sits in the company record as a claim, with the certificate as its source and a person who checked it. Claims that depend on something else — a certification, a response time, a partnership — are tied to that thing, so an expired certificate stops the claim rather than quietly outliving it.
