For most businesses a backup is a file somebody hopes is recent, stored somewhere only the last web person could find. In Siteleon, backup is not a separate job from publishing: every release you publish is kept as a restore point, together with what changed, who or what changed it, and the release it replaced. The history reads as a list of business changes — the maintenance contracts page rewritten, three installation photos replaced, the Alicante phone number corrected in the footer — not a list of files. High-impact changes are previewed and approved before they go live, so rollback is a safety net rather than part of the routine. When you do need it, you can put back the whole site or a single page, and the redirects and URLs come back with it.

There is no schedule to configure, no retention to pay for and no separate backup product to remember. Each publication becomes a restore point as it goes live. Rolling back is itself a publication, so the history stays honest about what happened.

Each release names the pages and sections that changed and who made the change — you, a colleague, or a recommendation you approved. You can compare a release against the one before it and read the wording side by side. Nothing reaches your site without appearing here first.

If a rewritten service page reads worse than what it replaced, take that page back on its own and leave the rest of the week's work in place. Redirects and URLs are restored with the content, so links you have already sent to customers keep arriving in the right place. The restored version goes live as a new release, not as a rebuild by hand.
