Communication
The enquiry arrives where someone will actually see it.
Most businesses lose enquiries in the gap between a website and an inbox. Connecting Google Workspace closes it. Siteleon sends each enquiry to the Gmail address or group that should answer it, keeps the reply thread attached to that customer, and pulls the logos and photographs you already keep in Drive straight into your pages. You carry on working in Gmail — Siteleon keeps the context attached.
What connects
You connect a Google Workspace account and choose three things: the mailbox or group that receives enquiries, one Drive folder Siteleon may read, and — if you want booked work tracked — one calendar. Nothing else in your Workspace is touched.
What data moves, and which way
- Sent: a new-enquiry email to the mailbox or group that owns that service and area.
- Received: replies on the enquiry threads Siteleon started, filed against the customer they belong to.
- Received: images and documents from the one Drive folder you nominate, copied into the site's media library.
- Received: appointments from the calendar you nominate, matched back to the enquiry that produced them.
What Siteleon can do with it
- Route enquiries by service and location — maintenance contracts to the office, emergency call-outs to the duty address.
- Keep the reply your colleague sent from Gmail on the customer record, so the history is not split between an inbox and a platform.
- Use the approved photography in your Drive brand folder when Siteleon drafts or changes a page, without downloading and re-uploading it.
- Show how many enquiries became appointments, so you are looking at booked work rather than form submissions.
Things you could ask for once it is on
- “Send emergency call-out enquiries to the duty inbox after six in the evening and to the office before it.”
- “Which enquiries from last month ended up as an appointment in the calendar?”
- “Use the new van photography in the Drive brand folder on the Valencia maintenance page.”
Setting it up
Four steps, in this order.
- 01Open Integrations, choose Google Workspace and sign in — with a domain administrator if the whole team will use it, or with one account if only your own mailbox is involved.
- 02Pick the mailbox or group that receives enquiries, the Drive folder Siteleon may read, and the calendar it may match against.
- 03Map each form and service to the person or group who should answer it, and set what happens outside working hours.
- 04Send a test enquiry, confirm it arrives, then reply to it and confirm the reply appears on the customer record.
Permissions
Siteleon asks to send mail from the address you nominate, read replies on the threads it started, read the one Drive folder you choose, read the one calendar you choose, and read directory names and addresses so enquiries can be assigned to real people. It never asks for access to your team's mailboxes, never reads mail on threads it did not create, never asks for the rest of Drive, and never asks for rights to create, disable or alter Workspace accounts. You can revoke it from your Google account at any time, and your website keeps running.
Where it stops
Siteleon does not become your email client. It does not sync your mailbox, manage users, or file messages that never touched an enquiry — a job won over the phone stays invisible until someone records it. Calendar matching depends on the appointment carrying the customer's email address, so an appointment booked by phone under a different address waits for you to link it. Drive access is one folder, read-only, and Siteleon will not write files back into it.
