Communication
Built for the business that runs on Outlook.
If your company lives in Microsoft 365, the website should feed it rather than sit beside it. Siteleon sends enquiries into the shared mailbox or distribution group that handles that service, threads the replies your team sends from Outlook onto the right customer, and draws approved documents and images from a SharePoint library when pages are drafted. Your team signs in with their existing work accounts, so access is managed where you already manage it.
What connects
You connect one Microsoft 365 tenant and nominate a shared mailbox or group, one SharePoint document library, and the directory groups used for sign-in and routing. Your administrator approves those permissions once.
What data moves, and which way
- Sent: an enquiry notification to the shared mailbox or distribution group responsible for that service and region.
- Received: replies on the enquiry threads Siteleon started, attached to the customer they concern.
- Received: documents and images from the one SharePoint library you nominate, copied into the site's media library.
- Received: the work accounts and group memberships you invite, so every enquiry has an owner and a leaver loses access when you disable them.
What Siteleon can do with it
- Sign your team in with their Microsoft work accounts instead of keeping a separate list of passwords for the website.
- Send out-of-hours enquiries to the on-call shared mailbox and daytime enquiries to the office, without anyone rewriting a rule each week.
- Keep the quote emailed from Outlook attached to the enquiry, so whoever picks it up sees the last thing that was said.
- Reuse the approved datasheets and photography already sitting in SharePoint when Siteleon drafts a new service page.
Things you could ask for once it is on
- “Route hotel and restaurant enquiries to the commercial shared mailbox and everything else to reception.”
- “Show me enquiries where nobody has replied from Outlook in three working days.”
- “Draft the chiller replacement page using the technical datasheets in the SharePoint product library.”
Setting it up
Four steps, in this order.
- 01Open Integrations, choose Microsoft 365 and sign in — an administrator grants consent once for the tenant.
- 02Choose the shared mailbox or group that receives enquiries and the SharePoint library Siteleon may read.
- 03Map forms to owners by service and location, and decide what happens outside working hours.
- 04Submit a test enquiry, then check the notification, the reply threading and the owner assignment before going live.
Permissions
Siteleon asks to send mail from the address you nominate, read replies on threads it started, read the one SharePoint library you choose, and read basic profile and group details for sign-in and routing. It never asks to read your users' mailboxes, never asks for OneDrive, never asks for files outside the chosen library, and never asks for the right to create accounts, change roles or reset passwords.
Where it stops
Siteleon does not manage your tenant. It will not create or disable accounts, set policy, apply retention or archive mail. Mail it never sent stays invisible to it, so an enquiry that arrived by phone or landed in a personal inbox is not on the customer record until someone adds it. Conditional access rules apply to Siteleon like any other application — if a policy blocks the connection, it has to be changed in Microsoft 365, not in Siteleon.
