Payments & commerce
Attach the money to the pages that earned it.
Enquiry counts flatter a website. Revenue does not. Siteleon reads paid invoices, subscriptions and refunds from Stripe and puts them next to the pages, campaigns and services that produced them — so you can see that one page brought fewer enquiries than another and considerably more money. Siteleon only reads. It never moves money.
What connects
You authorise read access to your Stripe account and confirm which products and prices correspond to which services. Payments started from a Siteleon page carry a reference so they can be matched without guesswork.
What data moves, and which way
- Received: paid invoices and charges, with amount, currency and date.
- Received: refunds, failed payments and disputes, so attributed revenue falls when money goes back.
- Received: subscription starts, changes and cancellations — the maintenance plans behind your recurring income.
- Sent: a reference to the enquiry and page that led to the payment, attached as metadata on payments started from your Siteleon site.
What Siteleon can do with it
- Follow the path from search to enquiry to customer to euros received, instead of stopping at the form.
- Watch contract renewals and cancellations against the pages and campaigns that signed those customers in the first place.
- Judge advertising on money received rather than on the cost of a click.
- Notice a service that takes payments steadily while its page has barely been touched in two years.
Things you could ask for once it is on
- “How much did the hotel maintenance page earn last quarter, after refunds?”
- “Which acquisition source brings customers who stay on a maintenance plan longest?”
- “Show me services with steady Stripe revenue and no dedicated page.”
Setting it up
Four steps, in this order.
- 01Connect your Stripe account from Integrations — the person doing it needs to be able to authorise applications on the account.
- 02Confirm which Stripe products and prices map to which services in your business knowledge.
- 03Decide what counts as revenue for a customer: the paid invoice, the subscription, or both.
- 04Check that a recent payment appears against the right customer and page, then leave it running.
Permissions
Siteleon asks for read access to charges, invoices, subscriptions, refunds and customer email addresses. It never asks to create a charge, issue a refund, change a price, alter a subscription, or reach payouts and bank details — and it never receives card numbers, which stay with Stripe.
Where it stops
Siteleon reads money and never moves it. Revenue taken by bank transfer, cash or a paper invoice is invisible here, so treat the figure as revenue Stripe processed rather than everything the business earned. A payment is attributed to a page only when it can be matched — usually by email address, or by the reference on a checkout that started on your site — and unmatched payments are shown as unattributed instead of being shared out by guesswork. Where you take payment in more than one currency, each currency is reported separately rather than converted at a rate Siteleon invented.
