WooCommerce runs inside WordPress, which means the connection is yours to install and yours to keep working. Siteleon reads orders, refunds and product categories through a plugin you add, and links them to the pages, searches and campaigns that led to them. You can do this while leaving the WordPress site exactly as it is, and decide about rebuilding later.
What connects
You install the Siteleon plugin on your WordPress site and authorise read access to WooCommerce. The plugin adds measurement and consent handling to your pages and sends orders back.
What data moves, and which way
- Received: orders with line items, totals, coupons and status changes from pending through to completed.
- Received: refunds and cancellations, so attributed revenue reflects money kept rather than money taken.
- Received: product names, categories and prices, kept in step with what your other pages claim.
- Sent: the measurement and consent script, and a conversion event naming the page and campaign behind each order.

Setting it up
Four steps, in this order.
- 01Install the Siteleon plugin on your WordPress site and activate it.
- 02Generate a WooCommerce key in your WordPress admin and paste it into Siteleon, or let the plugin complete the handshake for you.
- 03Choose which order statuses count as revenue — commonly completed rather than pending.
- 04Place a test order, confirm it arrives with the right page and status, and check your caching layer is not stripping the script.
Permissions
Siteleon asks for read access to orders, refunds, products and customer email addresses, and for its plugin to add a script to your pages. It never asks for write access to orders or products, never changes prices or stock, never touches checkout, and never asks for database, hosting or server credentials.
Where it stops
This is a self-hosted shop, so parts of it remain your responsibility. Siteleon does not update WordPress, resolve plugin conflicts, secure the site or fix a caching layer that strips its script — it can only tell you when data stops arriving. Order attribution depends on the script running in the visitor's browser, so an order from a visitor who declined analytics consent arrives without a page attached, which is the correct outcome rather than a gap to engineer around. Siteleon reads the shop and never writes to it.
